Natureland Seal Sanctuary

As well as providing a home to many seals, you'll find penguins, flamingos and a tropical house, filled with reptiles and creepy crawlies.  Pets Corner offers the perfect chance to meet some animals in person, plus there's an aquarium, floral palace and gift shop.

The National Parrot Sanctuary

The Parrot Zoo, Dickonhill Road, Friskney, PE22 8PF

Britain's only registered Parrot Sanctuary is set in over 16.5 acres of landscaped gardens and is home to over 1300 parrots (the largest collection of re-homed parrots in the UK). You'll also find the Ivanvale Nature Reserve, a picnic area, a walk-through aviary, bar and cafe.

Northcote Heavy Horse Centre

Spilsby, Lincolnshire PE23 5PS

As a sanctuary for handicapped & retired horses, the Centre is run by volunteers, so visitors are encouraged to help with simple tasks. Heavy Horse Dray rides are available most working days and rides begin after lunch. Entrance is free.
