You won’t lose out!  After the Government Announcement on 22 February 2021, regarding the exit from Lockdown, we now know provisional dates when holidays can recommence. Rest assured if your 2021 holiday is disrupted due to Coronavirus we’ll include the following cover;

If we are forced to close due to government coronavirus restrictions you can either:

  • Opt to move your holiday to an alternative date and we’ll also give you a 10% discount from the amended holiday costs
  • If you’re unsure of dates, you can take a credit note for the full value of what you have paid valid until the end of the 2021 season
  • Receive a full no quibble refund

If we are open but you are under local lockdown restrictions you can either:

  • Opt to move your holiday to an alternative date
  • If you’re unsure of dates, you can take a credit note for the full value of what you have paid valid until the end of 2021 season

This Coronavirus guarantee is FREE OF CHARGE for all bookings in 2021.

The Richmond is currently closed for holidaymakers, however, following the Government Announcement of a ‘Roadmap to Recovery’ we can now re-open on the following basis. This is all subject to everything going as planned and it is possible it may change at short notice:

Currently: The site remains closed until 12th April 2021. We are actively contacting all of our customers who are due to stay with us prior to this date.

From 12th April 2021: We’re really excited to be welcoming back guests. From this date until 16 May 2021 the following will apply:

  • Our static caravan accommodation will be open, however we’ll only be able to welcome one household per unit.
  • The Swimming Pool will be open but changing rooms will be closed so you will need to arrive at the pool ‘swim ready’ and a booking system will be in place.
  • The main Clubhouse (Includes; Bars, Restaurant & Arcade) will be closed and there is no entertainment available. We will be able to offer Food and Drink outdoors, however this will be weather dependent.
  • The Fish & Chip Shop will be operating a takeaway service and the Food Shop, Launderette and play area will be open, subject to Covid restrictions.
  • TOURERS: Unfortunately we are unable to open the Shower Block on the touring field during this period. Tourers are welcome to attend the park but you will need to be self sufficient as far as shower and toilet facilities are concerned

From 17th May to 20th June 2021

  • Static Caravan accommodation will be permitted to take up to two households per unit.
  • The swimming pool will be open and we hope to be able to open the changing rooms.
  • The Clubhouse will be open, including the Bars, Restaurant and Arcade. Entertainment will be permitted, there will be social distancing as well as other restrictions in place.
  • TOURERS: The Shower Block will now be able to open.

From 21st June 2021

  • This is hopefully what we’ve been waiting for!
  • As it stands, from this date, all facilities should be open and social distancing (under law) removed.

The Government is set to provide confirmation on the start date for each step a week in advance and if anything changes we will update you as soon as possible.
