Letting
BUYERS' GUIDE
Letting your caravan can be a great way to recoup some of the cost when you’re not using it. Many pitches at Richmond Holiday Centre allow for subletting, although we also have areas where this is not permitted. So, if this is something you're considering, please just let us know and we can ensure your caravan is located in the appropriate area. At The Richmond we do not provide a letting service, however our team are to help you through the process, advise you on requirements and what’s involved.
Before letting, you need to consider how much you plan on using your holiday home. If it’s going to be vacant for periods of time throughout the year, letting could be ideal for you. You’ll also need to check your holiday home’s safety features to ensure everything’s up to standard before you let it. You’ll need all the necessary safety certificates, a TV licence, and valid insurance that covers letting too.
The amount you could earn depends on a few things, including the size and age of your holiday home. The dates and number of weeks per season you let your holiday home will also be a big factor in how much you could earn. For instance, school holiday dates are very popular with our holidaymakers and potentially offer the highest amount of earnings.
